Leon

Leon is one of only a few formally qualified accordionists South Africa and has obtained the advanced certificate for accordion at Trinity College London

He has recently made an accordion solo album: Cafe Late

Leon performs as soloist at weddings, theatre productions, community concerts, birthday parties and restaurants.

This year he went to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown as part of the production of Christine Weir & the Kilts

His stage production with an Afro-French theme has been included in the 2018 programme of the Woordfees in Stellenbosch

Leon performs on a Borsini professional accordion as well as a Music-tech electric accordion

He plays in various styles and genres, including

French street café,

Italian-Neapolitan,

Celtic,

Gypsy,

Klezmer,

Jazz

Latin American and tango, as well as

South African folk
